Well, looks like we might have ourselves another 4G outage.

Looks like it's not just 4G - I get no joy from EVDO, either, when I force to CDMA.

On hold to get through to tech support - sounds like lots of people are calling (or they only have one tech on duty overnight).

On LTE phones when the network goes down, so does 3G.

I thought it might only be me. I've been having trouble all night. There must be yet another problem with VZW's network. I'm in the LA area. Generally I get decent 4G LTE coverage. Oh and it's down on my Bionic as well.

Re: Verizon looking into the signal strength issue, software comi

Maybe this is all related to some of the troubles we've had with speeds? I know the first major outage last year, the network took several weeks to recover fully in my area.

It's not your phone. I think its the network that is experiencing another outage.

VZW is beginning to remind me of my cable company back when they first started providing cable service in my area.

Re: Verizon looking into the signal strength issue, software comi

Verizon tech support says there is a nationwide network outage - email just rolled to techs based upon number of trouble tickets.

No estimate on service resumption yet. Tech said that there were many dozens of people on hold.

Anything is possible. Unfortunately, VZW isn't very good about communicating this type of thing with us.

Just totally lost my data connection. My buddy sitting beside me with his iphone 4 is surfing away :(
I'd say this GN and I are soon going to part ways.

Nothing to do with the phone. Everything to do with the network.

You try launching and expanding a bleeding-edge network to cover 200 markets and 200 million people in a year without some hiccups along the way. :P

LOL why are so defendent. I mean damn I am just making a statement, its not like I am hurting verizon's feelings. I don't know why I am hurting yours, lol. Just relax, it was just a statement, I had to let it out, have you ever done that?

I spoke too soon I guess. I just paid $300 for this new phone and paid a $128 monthly bill. I'm out $430 and have no data connection. I'm feeling a little butt hurt at the moment.

"Oh, ho, ho, irony! Oh, no, no, we don't get that here. See, uh, people ski topless here while smoking dope, so irony's not really a, a high priority. We haven't had any irony here since about, uh, '83, when I was the only practitioner of it. And I stopped because I was tired of being stared at."
