Verizon Massage+ Attaching Photos

I really like the message+ sms app from Verizon. But I have one gripe that I'm not sure if it affects everyone or just me. To attach a photo to a text, I hit the plus, select camera, and then wait, and wait, and wait for the picture thumbnails to load up. Does it load slow for everyone?
The gallery app lags the thumbnails fast, it's just the messages+ app that goes all turtle power.
Other sms apps also load quickly.

Doesn't for me. May want to check if it needs to be updated. I really like the app because it syncs across numerous devices. I use it to get calls on my iPad.
