Ok, I just went into a corporate store to pick up a Turbo and left without it. Very concerned about low signal. They had all 3 models on display. Signal strength is critical to me because at my home it is not too good, at most 2 bars of 4G. I currently have an S3.

I put my S3 on the counter next to the 3 Turbos. The store has a great signal and 4G was minis 61db on my S3. All 3 models of the Turbo only had 2 or 3 bars and between -96 and-100db. That's not just a little difference, that is horrible. I checked the other devices they had in the same display table, including a Moto Maxx and every one was 5 bars 4G and in the -60 range strength. I checked almost every other device in the store and they to were all in the -60s.

Am I missing something or did Moto screw up the radio in the Turbo. This is especially concerning if I have to use VOLTE for simultaneous voice and data.

A system update was sent out yesterday after many of us bought our phones so that might have fixed some of these issues. After the update my Turbos signal is as good or better than my Droid RAZR M at home and work.

I'm loving the phone, but my signal sucks. 2-3 bars indoors in Manhattan. GS3, GS4, and IPhone all much better. I have the update.
How do I find out dB?

After going out for dinner tonight I went to a different VZW corporate store and did the same test with the 3 Turbo models. Now it is completely different. I suppose these stores have some type of local cell transmitter because all the signals were in the -50db range, including my old S3, which is way higher than you would ever get out on the streets. This time the Turbo signal was as good or better than my S3. I can't figure out why they would be so different in one store compared to another?

Store 2 may be closer to a tower than store 1 was.

Most corporate stores have a repeater in the store to make everybody happy. Perhaps store 1 had a Walmart repeater?

Just concerned about why only the Turbos seemed to have trouble in store 1.
