Verizon Network Extender Problem

Been having problems with my Verizon Network Extender. My signal is poor and the N6 was having issues connecting to the extender. I went into settings and changed from Global to LTE/CDMA and also turned off Volte LTE calling. Now it connects okay and holds the connection. Had to do the same thing with my Iphone 6 last fall.

Just had the same issue with my Nexus6p. Went into cellular settings, network and changed to LTE/CDMA and turned off the enhanced LTE voice and now the Network Extender works.
