Motorola has just announced via its Twitter account that it will be offering the Moto X without contract for $100 on January 27th. The deal will apply to any Moto X, meaning that the 16GB will run just $299 and the 32GB will cost $349. The catch, however, is that the deal will only run for one hour and ?while supplies last.? The offer will be available from 3PM ET to 4PM ET on the 27th of January.


Motorola also notes that, until Valentine?s Day (February 14th), the Moto X will be available for $70 off, should you miss out on the $100 off offer. That means that the 16GB model will be available for $330 and the 32GB for $380 It looks like that offer will kick in after the $100 off offer sells out on the 27th.

2/5/2014 - 2/6/2014 For two days (maybe more) Costco wireless kiosks have these phones for Verizon at huge discounts after rebate with 2 year activation, does not appear to be valid online:

LG G2: $149.99 - $70 instant coupon - $200 MIR = $(120)

Motorola Moto X: New Activation $199 - $170 instant coupon -$100 Mir =$(70)
Upgrade $199 - $120 instant coupon - $100 MIR = $(20)

Samsung S4 Mini: $49.99 - $20 instant coupon - $100 MIR = $(70)

Samsung S3: $149.99 - $130 instant coupon - $100 MIR = $(100)

These deals (especially the g2) (highly recommended) would really go great with Verizon's $45 and $60 promotional single line plans!

Disclaimer: Costcos in most states require that you pay sales tax on the pre discounted amount of the 2 year contract price ($50 - $199) NOT on the full unsubsidized amount.

Therefor the amount in tax you would pay assuming your sales tax is around 7.25% would be:
G2 = $10.87
MotoX = $14.50
S3 = $10.87
S4 Mini = $3.62

So the total for the G2 would be $149.99 - $70= $79.99 + $10.87 tax= $90.86 out the door with a $200 MIR for a total of $(109.14).

For those that have a tablet plan, the ellipsis 7 is free on contract with free activation. A low end tablet for sure but if you have a tablet line out of contract, and wanted a cheap backup tablet, then this is probably ok.

Keep in mind etf is $350.

I haven't tried. But usually coupon codes don't work on the Verizon iPhone. I remember the Verizon 30 code which allowed me to get the Note 3 for $90 on contract on release day didn't work on iPhones.

If I had to guess, I would say Sunday or Monday. I believe that this is a temporary price cut and price will increase soon.
