I can't get it to work for a white one

Doesn't work on the white one for me, either so I guess you can get the rose gold one or pay $50 more.

I guess since I use a case that color might be OK will have to look at it again. Haven't tried any codes on the Rose Gold color.

VZWDEAL worked on the rose gold one yesterday when I tried it.

Just checking out some pics of it. It looks white with gold trim. I was afraid the body of the phone wasn't white but looks like it is. Funny you don't see all the colors on the Samsung website but if you Google for images of it there are several different colors.

Some of the colors are carrier exclusives in different countries. I think the Rose Gold is beautiful. And since it is rare, it may have a higher resale value at least for women buying them.

VZWDEAL works for the Rose Gold. Hate that upgrade fee. Talk about free $ for VZW! They don't even have to do anything for the fee.

If you call and complain about it you will likely be given the $30 courtesy credit.

You are getting a phone that retails for $700 for $180 and if you call and complain about the upgrade fee, you are likely to get $30 of it back and if you go to radio shack and buy the $14 smartphone on sale today and tomorrow, you will get another $100 back by doing the trade in. So that is $116 back. Of course you have to figure in the sales tax.

You can then sell your GNote2 on swappa and get even more money back. At a minimum you should net $200 after swappa fee, paypal fees and shipping.

So that is $316 total back minus the sales tax - you see you are actually making money by doing this!

You are paying at least $15 a month for the subsidy so an unused upgrade is just costing you money for nothing.

Well, you never know... It might get cheaper. But just keep in mind that the longer you hold it, the longer you will have to wait to get the phone after the note 3.

I ordered it. The longer I wait the less my Note 2 would be worth to sell and except for the $30.00 upgrade fee which I can try to get waived with the $100.00 trade in and the $50.00 discount code I'm only paying $49.99 for the phone. It will eventually be free I would imagine but I can deal with $50.00 cost. Plus they let me put the purchase on my account so I didn't have to put it on my credit card which I appreciated.

The activation they are referring to is the activation of the new GNote3 you just bought.

611 can do it. Just call and say how you just purchased and how mad the upgrade fee makes you and you might return the phone and switch to ATT since they have new plans that are so much cheaper than Verizon.

Just be nice.
