Verizon Pie Update Text Messages Not Working

I updated my phone yesterday to pie and now I can't send text msgs when I'm on wifi. If I turn it off it will work fine. It will even work for a few mins after turning wifi back on. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I have factory reset my phone, cleared app data and wiped cache. Any help would be appreciated

I have been messing around some more. if I use the Verizon msg app. I can send texts just fine. but If i use the stock or textra app it will not work.

Very strange. I'm on Verizon, side loaded CSB3 about two weeks ago and haven't had this issue. I'm using the stock Samsung texting app.

Have you tried the standard "clear cache partition"?

Maybe email Textra support. Someone there might have a solution for you. I use Textra and they are pretty helpful.

Yes, email textra, they will respond and help. Usually responds fairly quick.

I am having the same exact issue!! Cut wifi off, my 4G LTE lights up and sends texts. Cut WiFi back on, arrows under 4G LTE don't light up or move and message will not send

Same problem here except texts do not send on work network. No problems home WiFi. Also get sd error saving an xls file(missing file...dvztmp......) at storage.....

yeah I can text fine at home on wifi but at work I cannot. I got with out IT guy and he switched networks for me and still doesn't work. I can receive texts fine but can send. something changed with the update and now it won't text on work wifi

I've had issues with Bluetooth a few times and resetting the network settings has fixed my problems you might want to try that since it's for all network settings.

General management>reset>reset network settings
