Verizon- pie update?

Can’t you just turn off the “download updates automatically” switch and then never click on the “download updates manually” link? Seems like an easy solution unless I’m missing something.

I hope so. That didn't work, in the past, on other phones.
Time will tell.

It is seriously silly of Verizon to not have sent out the Pie update yet. I did the sideload and then the update to the sideload and cannot see any reason why Verizon would be waiting.

Agree. I understand VZW can be slow, but at this point the delay moving N9 to Pie is kind of a mystery.

It is crazy, but who knows what happened. They usually not this late.

Don't care how, I want Pie now!

(Sung to "I want it now" from Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory).

I'm wondering now with them taking so long to release it that when they do it will be with the March update an not be CSB3...

last year, the Note 8 on Verizon didn't get Oreo until around March 30th. seems Verizon is running true to form

I went and got the 10+ and it automatically updated to version 1.1 of Android pie but Everytime I try to update my note 9 which I sideloaded pie it says version 1.0 and keeps telling me it's updated

Maybe Verizon is waiting to integrate Samsung one UI version 1.1 into their update. However, if Samsung operates as they have in the past, the S10 variants won't even see Samsung one UI version 1.1 until they get the Android Q update at which time they will get the latest version of one UI. The only phone that will likely see any Samsung one UI updates in 2019 is the Galaxy Note 10.

Just curious, this file that everyone is downloaded to upgrade to the very latest version of pie... Has anyone had any issues?

Like what kind of issues?
It's a official Samsung file for February security patch.

I just downloaded the file and moved it to my SD card so as for me none... I was simply asking if anyone who has already updated experienced any issues? I hope that this puts me right so I'll be able to get whatever Verizon pushes out next time. Just being cautious, that's all.

I've been on it , cant say any issues found yet , but when Verizon rolls it out hopefully it be this one and not the next otherwise have to grab the newest sd card update to be current and going forward no more sd card update.
