Verizon- pie update?

You can get one fairly cheap. You only need a 4 gig SD card

I think you can get an 8gb card for around $10

Not to contradict your comments about the update, but as a fellow IT professional, no software or application is fool proof.... It just hasn't met the right fool yet.....

I took his comment to mean that the install method is full proof.

I just updated threw sd card but now if I check for Verizon's ota update all I get is system update is currently unavailable

That's because it's not released yet, once Verizon rolls out the update it will say up to date

Yeah I like pie also , dont forget try night mode .
You can turn on toggle in the drop down panel.

Just follow my steps. You will be on pie just like that.

Download correct version at https://firmware.science
your downloaded file to update.zip
Move to SD card
Turn off phone
Turn on device holding Bixby and volume up
Release once logo pops
Update from SD pick update.zip
Done
Be patient and let update load plug in device.
You now have Pie.

Remember this does not effect personal files etc make sure you do a backup of important information period. Always use best practices when backing up, updating, upgrades etc.

No it just a update leaves everything as it was

This is so freaking confusing to me. I’m unlocked but I’m stuck waiting on Verison! True carrier models that are Verizon only can do this. No justice!!!

Oh well sometimes being unlocked just doesn’t pay

I can’t find a beta anywhere that I can get in any suggestions or do I just bite the bullet and wait for Verizon?
