Don, by any chance is your note unlocked? From what I understand this won't work on unlocked phones and would have to wait on OTA update.Once I reboot my phone and try to apply the update from the SD card it says couldn't mount the SD card
I appreciate your help in trying to figure it out but I am going to give up and wait on Verzion to roll the update out
well does anybody think the official release will be in March?![]()
It's still available. It's stocked but from my understanding all phones from Verizon come factory unlocked. I'm thinking that the file on the website isn't available any longer. Because as soon as it finishes downloading it goes to my internal storage and when I try to open it up it pops up the word error like nothing is in that file
Just download the file to your desktop, that way you don't tie up your phone forever waiting for it to download. Then rename it to update.zip. The plug your Note I'm to your computer and drag the file into the root directory of your SD card. Then just follow the many sets of directions found in this topic to restart your phone and side load the update. I think only few left will find out lot of them on pie already.
LOL. If only the folks here made up even 1% of VZ customers.
Ok it’s March 1st, about 8 hours into it and I’ve not seen anything anywhere about Verizon rolling it out yet so I’m beginning to doubt the XDA guy claiming today is the day. Darn I hope he is right!
It's all speculation, nobody knows for sure.
I understand that but I’m getting very tempted to download Odin and attempt a flash. Is that an option for me with my N960U1 phone?
Is it too much trouble for you to type out the steps I need? Sorry to be a bother but I can just see this lasting another month. If it is no problem. I understand!
