Bought mine unlocked. Got TracFone BYOP sim kit. TracFone had me use the Verizon wireless compatible sim -- I guess that is the carrier TracFone rides in my area.
Works fine.
Mine is E4, not E4 plus.

yes prepaid e4 plus works on postpaid account immediately. have to get Verizon rep that's willing to do it. I called 611.
