I ordered unlocked directly from Samsung even though I'm on Verizon. Their deals were more appealing to me.

Wonder if more people are ordering unlocked and that's why it's a bit quieter

I don't know, but usually on a release the forums are packed, every carrier has a sticky. Just weird this time around

I went thru best buy this time around because better deal. Samsung wasn't communicating good with Verizon, didn't work right. I doubt I'll get the phone on release day, but that's fine, no hurry

Might just have to pre order this beast.

Looked at it today in Best Buy and it made my iPhone feel like it was from the 1970's

Might go with Best Buy as it shows I can pick up in store on release day the 6th. The 512GB with Verizon is already back to the 17th.

Keep in mind best buy doesn't update their dates like Verizon does. I ordered my ultra 512 at 12:30 release morning and I'm not expecting to get it release day.

With that said, those phones feel very good in the hand. Not so wide.

In the past they haven't. This is my first time doing a pre-order with them. I'm going into it expecting it to be late, can't get disappointed as easy. If timing is important I always say stay away from best buy, but there are a lot that have had no issues also. I think Samsung pretty much honors all promos for pre-orders due to high demand and delivery issues. I've never seen a post started saying they didn't get their promo because best buy didn't get the phones delivered

I went with best buy for the $700 trade in on the note 10+. Tried going thru Samsung direct, but as some have reported, trying to use Samsung and go thru Verizon wasn't working, Samsung was trying to bill the total due instead of going thru Verizon payments deal. Went to Best buy and everything worked as should, only thing due was taxes. From the looks of it, best buy might be your best hope as Samsung is showing out of stock on the 512 ultra and Verizon is showing later date for delivery. I just wouldn't count on best buy being there on release day ordering this late. They just keep selling them, and adjust delivery dates as they get them in. To be fair, all sellers have had issues with pre-orders.

Have you checked best buys website. The s20 ultra 512 is now showing not available at my store. Stores in other areas show ultra 512 available for release date yet. Every other form of the s20 line up is still showing available, just not the ultra 512.

So maybe best buy is trying to go by available inventory this time around.

Yea, just checked and it's unavailable as of today at any of my local stores Guess I won't be getting it on release day.

My search shows some available 200+ miles away, like Minneapolis areas.

I'm not holding my breath of getting mine on release day either. There could be a supply issue as Samsung marked them out of stock on their website awhile ago.

AT&T is the only one that Samsung direct is showing as having stock for the ultra 512

Maybe I can just walk into Best Buy or Verizon on launch day and get one with no pre order or nothing?

Did this with the 512GB iPhone with no problem at all.

Must have been a glitch. Verizon shows the ultra 128 back on time again and the 512 is dated 3/23/2020. Thought it was weird it said out yif stock, there's usually a back order date listed.

Sure wish Verizon had at least a $500 trade in for the note 10+, actually wish Samsung order process would be better and week I with Verizon's system. I would rather go Samsung or Verizon over best buy. Samsung preferred as Verizon does the trade in as monthly credits

Beginning to think I should have went with the 128 ultra. I'm not in a hurry to get one, but when you upgrade twice a year, timing can be an issue, gets to a point might as well just wait now. Lol
