I pre ordered S22 Ultra Burgundy 256gb via Verizon.com with trade in for my S21 plus..scheduled for delivery Feb 25th. The process wasn't bad at all and I wanted to get 128gb but it showed out of stock hence the choice I made.

I got the black 512gb ultra. Is it me or were there hardly any freebies this time? Feels like in years past there were a ton of free things.

Also Verizon only wanted to give me $89 for my near mint Note 9. I'll either keep it for backup or sell somewhere else for that little.

Can't wait to finally get a new phone. My note 9 has been incredible I will say.

I'm gonna assume I can transfer all of my music and pictures from my SD card to the ultra pretty seamlessly as well?

Verizon offered me half of what Samsung offered on trade in unless I upgraded my plan by 75 a month. Since I am satisified with my current unlimited plan I will buy from Samsung.

Lol it's not just you. Since I didn't see much, I just went ahead with the trade in because according to them, my monthly payment will reduce drastically once I do the trade in.

I sell my stuff on Swappa and 89 bucks? Oh my

The Note series is going away from what I read so I jumped back on the S series but you are right,, Note was great to me

I would think it would be an easy transfer lol.

Mind if I ask how much please?

I was hitting refresh on Verizon as soon as the Samsung unpacked began. Got in very early and ordered Ultra in phantom black 512gb.

Then got over to Amazon and ordered my Spigen Tough Armor (my case on last two phones).

The case arrives tomorrow so I get to look at it for two weeks while I wait for the phone to arrive. 😭

Lol. Nice one. I got the email and dropped everything else to order

Makes absolutely perfect sense

Verizon offered me $700 to trade in my Note 20 Ultra, but only if I agreed to pay the reduced price off over 3 years. If I tried to pay it off earlier the trade-in value goes away and I have to pay the full cost.

Verizon wow no offers, preordered from AT&T 800.00 0ff S22 Ultra 512GB (Note22 Ultra) with my Note10 Plus 256GB trade in.

Oh wow! Really?

I did the same thing🙂

Verizon's offer is better. $1000 off.
AT&T has the best offer unless you have a very new phone to trade.
They are offering good value off of any old phone to do a 36 month installment plan.
I could get a 512 GB Ultra for $500.04 ($13.89 × 36 months) by trading in my sons old iPhone 6 ($800) that has been sitting in a drawer for the last 5 years.
The problem is my wife and sons are on iPhone with me on Verizon and none of us want to move to AT&T.
I have four old phones in a drawer that AT&T will give me at least $300 while Samsung & Verizon won't give me a dime.
They will give me $425 for my Note 10+ but I'm not giving it up.

I guess that's it then. Verizon is giving me $1000 for my Galaxy Flip 3. Samsung offered me $400. I would have preferred to buy from Samsung, but the economics of it didn't work out in my favor. I didn't realize older phones were cut off by Verizon. I paid only $399 for the flip.

I preorder from Verizon... then VERY QUICKLY cancelled. I might see about getting an unlocked one from Samsung. Would cost $1000, even with trade in. I don't know? I do know I DO NOT want to play the 24 month game with Verizon.

Unfortunately they changed the game to 36 months.
Many promos are now going to be tagged to 36 month plans to limit your ability to switch carriers.
