Verizon S3 or AT&T S3?

They haven't even done that with HSPA+ as it stands today. So, your suggesting they will up the anti again on the 3G side??? And build out LTE??? What's wrong with that picture. Pay to build a new network (LTE) and continue to upgrade the old one. I wouldn't hold my breathe on that one.

It doesn't make good business sense.

Actually, AT&T has upgraded the majority of its cell sites that have UTMS equipment to support HSPA+ already. Luckily for them this doesn't require new equipment in most cases. The LTE buildout is what is costing the big bucks and takes time.

What you neglect to mention is HSPA+ is not widespread by any means. So, chances are you will not fall back to it. Secondly, ATT's 4g network is barely off the ground.

On the other hand VZ already has very good LTE coverage (300+ cities) and continues to expand at an alarming rate.

With VZ fallback is not really going to be a big issue.

What are you talking about? look at this coverage maps. It covers almost every metropolitan city.

Hi buddy, here is my 2 cents, go to cellswapper website and pick up unlimited grandfathered dataplan with whatever phone, and then worry about buying a phone IF YOU USE DATA CRAZY LIKE ME. I just did that for two lines of my family plan, and ported both no. to google voice, so now I have unlimited data and you can always pick whatever phone plan you want, I was lucky to snag one motorola razr and one iphone with unlimited data from cellswapper. I was at&t customer for past 5-6 years, and was tired of putting up with their BS cust-rep services. about discount I get discount on my primary plan+ data plan on primary line in verizon, at&t did exact same for me when i was with them. At&t coverage ( for me atleast) was always 3g which is 3-4 times faster than 3g of verizon, but with lte speeds and non-stop coverage from verizon, i havent missed at&t in past 2 months at all, also i had to call 2-3 times for changing plan, and taking over 2nd line and customer rep service was truly great, no fuss like reps at att create. I am paying 10$ extra than what I would have paid with at&t for exact same plan( 2 lines both unlimited data 700 mins) but trust me its so worth it if you are willing to spend it.
