Verizon S8 / S8+ Pre-Order Discussion

Ordered on 4/16 at 5am. Just got charged

Well lesson learned here...order a week before launch

Ordered late Saturday night (4/15) just got the text that my order was received and the charge from Verizon has hit my credit card. No changes on the status page yet, no shipping info.

One funny thing: When I went into my account to look at "recent orders," it is still showing my S6, purchased in May 2015 as "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back later." Guess they don't update that info too much!

Just called Fedex to made it delivered tomorrow , and CS told me only Verizon can expedited the shipment , and I need to call VRZ to tell them call fedex.

Should I do it ? I'm scare CS VRZ since they messed up alot before.

That's where my second one is, maybe our phones are holding hands.

I have that s6 order in process also, doesn't make any sense. I traded that phone in back in December.

For the ones waiting for charge, don't worry, there's tomorrow for 2 day delivery and if there's any stragglers left for Thursday Verizon usually overnight those. Don't lose hope.

When did you order

I ordered on the 30th. Just got done chatting with the CSR and they said that it went through but since the phone has not been "received by Verizon from Samsung" since it is still preorder. Explained to the CSR politely that it is bull **** that they are telling me since obviously everyone else has been charged and has estimated delivery dates. They said to get further information, I would have to call and sadly my note 4 has been in a constant reboot cycle for the past week and I am unable to use my phone nor do I have another phone I can use to call.
