Verizon S8 / S8+ Pre-Order Discussion

jaynyone, I've always printed out the FedEx tracking page and handwritten next to the Shipment Facts:
Received (date) and signed my name. I trifold the page so the FedEx top portion is facing out so they will see it and tape it to the front door. FedEx has always accepted this for my Verizon phone shipments (I replace my phone every year).

UGH. Pre-ordered on 3/29 9:34pm (pst) somehow they ran out of the Orchid Grey s8+ before processing my order. backorder til 3/26

Lesson of the day; regular sales reps know nothing. Spoke to a pre order specialist, reassured me that my order is complete and waiting to be shipped in the morning, no back order issue. And that they had planned to ship most pre orders a few days early all along. Hmm... I will see in the morning if it ships.

WTF! Mine left Newark NJ yesterday at 100 pm and I just checked it and now it is saying g it arrived back in Newark again at 145 am. It still says today by 800 pm but I'm having my doubts. Don't know why it would take a 12 hour ride back yo the same place it left. I was patient when everyone was getting theirs early but now I'm tired of waiting.

here is my question for all of you. Who ordered the S8+ in Orchid Gray and when did you order it? Did you get charged/have it shipped? Do you already have it?

I ordered the Orchid Gray S8, not the S8+. I ordered at midnight on March 30th. I received it Tuesday the 18th. It's strange that you ordered that soon and get a back order message.

Same with midnight black. That's strange since there are people like me that ordered orchid gray last Thursday and received it. They obviously didn't go in order
