Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Backup Assistant Plus

Since the mini-update, my phone was been using Backup Assistant Plus to sync contacts. I don't need this app since I sync my contacts with Google. I even turned off (unchecked) the sync contacts and yet, every morning I wake up with a contacts synced notification. I can't even "Turn Off" this app. Is rooting the only way to get rid of this pesky app?


EDIT: Figured it out I think. Turn off Sync Services. >.< Hate bloatware.

Wiser words were never spoken. Clearly you've dealt with a hardrive crashing and losing everything. Or the trouble to find copies of everything.
