Try clearing the cache partition. That helped me to get the update.

I'm most definitely putting off the inevitable. But if I can put this off until Google rolls out 5.1, I'm going to do so. As the say goes, don't fix it if it aint broke. So while not taking it is probably fine I think your only putting off the inevitable as updates previously offered have to be installed before a newer one can be installed. There is a progression to it. Always works this way whenever you get a new phone that hasn't been updated and has a few updates waiting, never just jumps to the latest one.

Does clearing the cache reset my phone to where I'll have to reinstall everything? I've never done that before. Thanks.

Thanks for the "heads up". Mine had reenabled themselves also.Didn't notice too much after the update, but check your disabled Verizon apps after you install it. I noticed after the update that caller name ID was re-enabled after having it disabled for weeks.

Seriously this is a big deal? I reboot each morning when I take it off the charger. Not a big deal at all. Does it need it? No. I just have always done it this way with all phones for many years. A fresh start on the day. Geez, takes all of 2 sec to initiate and 30 sec or so to complete. Maybe why I never have any issues with this device or others. I dunno, but every three days , really not a big deal.I cannot go much more than 3 days without having to reboot. After 4 days the phone is practically unusable. Will 5.1.1 fix this? Having to reboot so often is totally unacceptable for a flagship phone.
