Verizon special promo- Free Droid DNA

Just got my free DNA and all I had to do was activate it at home and it let me keep my unlimited!! Not sure how!?

my upgrade date is the 5/22 think they will let me get the dna? wife's line is eligible now so want to do both at the same time.

I called verizon and asked if they could change my update date and they said as long as its no more than 7 days out they can do it.

The offer is good until 5/21. I heard there is an announcement on 5/22... so now I'm almost positive that will be the Verizon version of the HTC One.

Picked this up yesterday with one of my upgrades. Nobody in the verizon store could believe this existed, but it worked with no problem. I asked about any info regarding something along the lines of the One for Verizon and of course they didn't know anything. I think it's obvious something must be coming. Ether way this is a deal that I couldn't pass up.

I asked about the One and they blamed HTC..then said they might be getting it as the DNA PLUS in June or July...they were also surprised at the free coupon. Oh and all I had to do to keep my unlimited was use my grandmother's upgrade then activate the phone at home which I told them I bought the phone in full and they did it no hassle and nobody got bumped to teired data. I was told to do this earlier that day by a Verizon rep haha.

I just took advantage of this offer. Pretty sweet deal. This phone has plenty of hardware to last a contract period. I have 2 DNA's being delivered on Monday. I probably talked to 5 people until I finally found someone from Customer Care that helped me out and he didnt know about the deal. I had to send him the link. He told me that this kind of promotion was separate from the regular Verizon . They have a Social Network sales side where the normal sales people dont know what is going on . But I sent the guy the link and he looked into it. He helped me process my order because I had to have my upgrade date moved up from the 4th of June. And as far as announcing new phones etc etc . Verizon keeps things hush hush for a reason. They dont tell any of their lower end employees or people that work at the Verizon stores about any new Phones that are coming out. Thank goodness for the internet and the few Android gossip sites.

How long did it take for you guys to receive the coupon in your email ? Submitted my email late last night but nothing yet. When I go to the website now, it is down?

You input your email address and the link sends you back the code that you print out and take to a Verizon store or you enter the code at checkout Online. Almost instant response with code. Maybe somehow it ended up in Spam. If not try again. Here is the link again .

I just paid the activation fee, no tax. Not sure about restocking fee...

I had to do a phone order due to incompetence at the local verizon store. They wouldn?t let me keep my unlimited data, even with a alternate upgrade. My new dna should arrive on Wednesday. Total cost of $65.41 with tax. Can't wait, bye bye droid bionic!

I paid tax for the whole cost of the phone.. Which was bout 40 bucks plus he activation fee. Total came out $70 plus some change.

You paid tax? In all honesty I don't think vzw reps had any clue on how to process these orders, they didn't even know the deal existed, which i guess was a good thing, otherwise I would've end up on a more expensive plan.

Mine was only $32 for upgrade fee and tax! You shouldn't have gotten charged tax for the whole price of the phone if it was free!!
