Verizon stalking customers (specifically GN owners). I know this is not news, but how do you feel about Verizon knowing where you are and what you are doing on your phone? Anyone here receive a call from Verizon?

How are they stalking? Also they don't really know what you are doing with your phone, just what u are doing with that data. I mean it's their towers, of course they know.

I'm quite happy with the fact that Verizon knows where I am. How else would they be able to route phone calls to me?

I'm also rather pleased that they know what I'm doing. When my phone asks for data from a web server, it's rather handy that Verizon's network knows that I'm asking for data and which web server I'm requesting it from. Otherwise, their network wouldn't know that it needed to return data to me.

No one from Verizon has called me. Can you explain what they said on the call...and why they called? I don't get it.

I'm glad they are taking an interest in why people are not using 4g because it shows they realize it is having issues. Hopefully they use the information for the new update.

Is this some sort of a joke thread or something? If not, first and foremost, this is nothing new.

While people seem to be up in arms about Google's updated privacy policies, most seem to forget just how much information each of the telecommunication companies have on their customers and the fact that they are required to store and maintain records for most everything we do on our phones. All of the data, websites, etc. is known to the carriers. They also know all of the phone numbers, etc. we call and text.

People need to get real and realize that the more technologically advanced we get, the more information there will be out each of us.
