Verizon -- System Update LG V10

If you use your phone like most of us do, your screen will almost always be the main battery user, by a pretty wide margin.

But the screen was only using 1%. The apps are using the lion's share, this time 90%.

Do you keep location turned on?

Nope, I try to run as lean as possible.

And those numbers from this morning were for just a little over an hour. I unplugged around 6 am.

Run your phone down to about 20% and post the battery stats again.

If you go to the G4 forum >stickies, there were some good battery optimization threads.

Your stats look to me like an app or process is running in the background, using a lot of resources.

The first 4 in your app sucker view are suspiciously high.

I agree wholeheartedly my friend. It seems that doing a restart will fix this issue for a bit, but then it creeps back. It could be a few hours or a few days, but it comes back eventually.

Alrighty now, so the battery dropped power like a stone all morning and into the afternoon. When it hit 30% it stayed there....forever.

I am so over this stupid update. Anybody know how revert to the previous version?

Your app usage is still about 90%, so there must be an app churning away. Have you tried booting into safe mode to see if it's an app you have installed?

I would LOVE to do that.

One small question, how do I do that?
