Has anyone got the Verizon Visual Voice Mail app to work on the Nexus 6p yet?
I can't get it to work on my Nexus 6P... I even tried upgrading from the basic Visual Voicemail by adding the premium voicemail feature to my account for $2.99 a month, and it still doesn't work for me.
I know there is Google Voice but I don't want to have my number forwarded or moved over to Google Voice... I prefer just to use my Verizon number with their visual voicemail app.
EDIT: There is currently no Visual Voice Mail app that works for the Nexus 6P on Verizon, at least not for Verizon's voicemail service. However, as tech_head below has pointed out, you can forward just your unanswered calls to Google Voice number and use the Google Voice app for VVM by doing the following:
1. Go to https://www.google.com/voice to setup your Google Voice on your Google account if you haven't already done so.
2. Install Google Voice on you phone from play store and set up to use for VVM.
3. From the Google Voice web site select your Google Voice number to edit the settings... on the Voicemail & Text tab record your greeting... then go to back to the main page -> select edit button under your cell number -> Show advanced settings -> forwarding options Click "go straight to voicemail" radio button. (This will send all calls forwarded from your cell to your Google Voice number directly to voicemail). http://www.techerator.com/2009/10/how-to-prevent-extra-rings-using-google-voice-as-voicemail/
4. On your phone dial *71+(Your Google Voice Number) to forward all unanswered calls to Google Voice. (To stop forwarding calls to dial *73 from your phone.) http://www.verizon.com/businessportals/support/features/calling_features/no_answer_transfer.html
