Verizon Warranty on Original Tab

Any of you have your Tab replaced with the Assurion insurance on Verizon devices? Do they fix it, replace it with a refurb or switch you to a new model since the original Tab is no longer made.

Dropped mine and it is fine, but made me wonder what would happen if the screen had broken.

You'd most likely be sent a refurb...a friend just had a replacement sent to them from VZW and it was clearly refurbished.
