I'll copy my post from your S3 thread. Guess you're pretty impressed with your video
I've spent quite a bit of time playing with a stock GS3...well because they were having more fun playing with my Nexus. While the GS3 is an amazing device in it's own right, it's nowhere near exciting enough for me to consider ditching my Nexus.
From GS3:
The Nexii lines will ALWAYS be ahead via software and developer support. Being a buy and hold through value consumer that still loves to have cutting edge technology (in this case via software and dev support) there's no better option than the Nexus lines. The next Nexus with be ahead of ABC android phones in both hardware (at least on par) and software. Then some months down the line there wil be better hardware options but the Nexus will still have the latest software and dev support. That cycle will always continue with Android. The very fact the gnex is still a top tier phone to compared to and be reckoned with nearly 9 months after its release in today's tech world is testiment to that. Best tech purchase I've made in ages. Granted, mine has been 100% proper from launch day and I understand that others haven't had the same fantastic experience. S3 and others are certainly awesome devices, but I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the Nexus line from here on out. Never had a phone that felt new this late in the game. Obviously, I believe software > hardware.
