Verizons Nexus 2013 7 Lte version

Hope someone can help me with this. The last few days I've been getting the 5.0.2 update and I download but when I go to install it then says my 4.4.4 is up to date. Verizon can't help me with this and I'm about to pull my hair out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for replying, I've already tried that and thought about doing a factory reset but would rather not do that just yet.
Just finished downloading again but still won't install. Google says the update is not out for this version so still puzzled about what's going on.

Where did you see that Lollipop isn't out yet for the 2013 N7 LTE? The 5.1 factory image is available on their website: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images. I also saw various articles confirming that 5.1 had rolled out to LTE devices (unless there's something special about Verizon's).

When I called Verizon they got me on 3 way to Google and they said it wasn't out yet for the Lte version. They told the Verizon lady I was talking with it was Verizons update.
Guess I'll just tuck it away till they get it straighten out.

I have no update either. Why would it matter if it is on Verizon? As I understand it the Nexus 7 LTE is able to work on any carrier. I bought mine direct from Google, not from Verizon although it is activated on Verizon. It shouldn't matter. Would pulling my sim card out make it update?

I have no place for a sim card. I got mine from Verizon and don't see what difference it would make either.
I don't understand why I'm getting system updates and it will download but can't get it to install. Maybe I should just leave it on kit kat.

Based on everything I've read here and other places, I'm leaving my Verizon LTE Nexus 7 on KitKat. It works great, so why mess around with it?
