Very confused about IMEI!?!?!

so will a t-mobile S5 with bad IMEI work with AT&T network?
Let's say the Tmobile S5 had clean IMEI at the purchase, but I unlock it and use it with AT&T network.
Few weeks later, for some odd reason, IMEI gets blocked, will it still work with AT&T or is it only blocked for T-mobile?

If the IMEI is blocked by one carrier than that device will be useless on ALL carriers. The IMEI gets blocked when the device is reported lost / stolen. I find it odd that you would ask about it getting blocked for "some odd reason."
