Very confused

So t-mobile bought that 700 A black from verizon. How does it cost 3 billion? And why is it even any good to t-mobile if no phones have the 12 band in their phones. I get the whole it will work better inside. But well like I said earlier no phone has the 12 band

I doubt that T-Mobile would spend that sort of money if they didn't know what they were doing. If you ask them, they may even tell you what they plan to do.☺
