Vibrant email (not gmail) problems

So obviously my gmail works perfectly but I cannot seem to get my work email account to work. It is a pop3 account. I have the server, port, security type, user name and password all correct. Email check frequency is 5 min. I do not receive emails on my phone from this account. The crazy thing is i can send emails from my phone on this account just fine. Not sure what the problem could be?

Another weird thing as well is that no matter how many times i uncheck default account, it is always checked when i go back into account settings.

Any ideas?
 
Could there be settings in my account on my work PC that im not aware of that would prevent emails to be sent to a mobile device?
 
Could it be that you email client at work is emptying your mail box? You may have to set them both clients up as imap.
 
I had the same issue, I was running advanced task killer, which was causing alot of problems, so I removed it, and suddenly i start receiving all my emails from that particular account.

If you are running task killer you may want to try that
