Vibrate on Nexus 4

Just wondering if the vibrate on my Nexus 4 is normal. I can only describe it as a "flat" vibrate. It's fairly weak. If I go slowly over the pattern unlock you can actually hear the motor pulse and it sounds quite wimpy. It's nothing like the Galaxy Nexus or my iPhone 5 which had very crisp and sharp vibrates.

I don't know if anyone here has used the Lumia 900 but it seems similar to that. Is the vibrate on your Nexus 4 weak?

Mine is like that as well. My S3 had a lot powerful vibrator.

I like it the soft vibrate. If I'm in a meeting and it goes off in my pocket, the rest of the world can't hear it

Didn't think of that but very true. Sometimes my iPhone seems like it will vibrate across the table.

I also noticed the weak vibrate on the Nexus 4. My wife has a Nexus, and that thing is loud when it vibrates! It almost embarrassed me in church one time.

Have the same problem! Rev. 11, produced in may 2013 in Korea. I just turned vibration off, it is realy bad. Still don't have a solution (( My Galaxy Nexus had also very sharp vibration, but my new Nexus 4 has disgusting vibrator My wife has Lumia 920, and its better, than my Nexus, but also very crapy!

Solved! My problem was inside the vibromotor, I disassembled my Nexy and disassembled vibromotor, and found a little bug inside it - it was a little crack in the magnet antioxidant cover/ Now this cover is removed, and I ordered this part to have sterling Nexy: LG Nexus 4 E960 Middle Cover ACQ86303301| Bulk - Parts4GSM

So, may be, your problem is the same!
