vibrate- too loud

So I have the HTC One V now, and I noticed that when it is set on vibrate it is ridiculously loud/obnoxious/slightly violent when it goes off... I just wanted to know if all of the One V's were made like that or if this is just my phone's issue? Also, the haptic feedback on the bottom buttons is pretty loud too, but I know how to turn that off, just wondering if all of the phones were like that?

pretty sure it's just the phone. mine is that way too. i have Go SMS pro where you can actually custom make the vibration pattern. i tweaked mine to not vibrate for so long... helps a little.

aww... haha I don't wanna be a whinner, but yeah... it just bugs me a little... lol no big deal yet tho cuz I'm not getting calls or anything on it yet lol

I do moderately physical work in a sometimes noisy career, and have missed several calls on my older phone because it did not vibrate hard enough.
