Vibration from the speakers

I tested the Note 10 and the Note 10+ at our local Media Markt Store in Austria and liked both very much, they are really beautiful phones. But I encountered one problem (for me at last): A very strong vibration from the speakers, even at lower volumes. I held a Note in one hand, my S9+ in the other, playing the same Videos on YouTube at around 60% volume and whereas I could only feel little vibration on the S9 it was very awkward on the note. As I often watch videos with the built in speakers this is a no go for me.

Did you check the custom equalizer to see if others had turned up the bass?

No, I did not. But I felt the Vibrations on several displayed Notes. Do You think that maybe these phones have such extreme equalizer values an basic settings?

My S9+ has standard flat EQ settings with +-0 for all frequencies.

I experienced this as well with my brand new note 10+ right out of the box when I picked it up Friday. Strong vibration is clearly there, and definitely more pronounced than the note 9 or S9/S9+

Maybe not all units are like this but willing to bet that a vast majority are. I will be honest though, I too was very put off by it, but the Spigen case I’m using has mitigated it for now.

My S9+ has standard flat EQ settings with +-0 for all frequencies.

You'll need to look at the adjustable audio settings of the device before you write off any device speaker as too bassy or any other audio imbalance.

Did you take a look at your settings and adjust them to where you want them?

On the German Review Site Notebook.com there is a review where they stated: "Gewöhnungsbedürftig: Bei der Tonwiedergabe vibriert das Smartphone stark. Auf längere Sicht können die Vibrationen stören, wenn man das Smartphone in der Hand hält." They describe strong vibrations which may be disturbing for some users.
