video losing focus

Finally got the chance to shoot some meaningful video instead of just little tests and noticed something annoying. While trying to focus on a batter in a baseball game from about 20 feet away, the subject kept going in and out of focus and when he ran the bases the same thing happened to an even greater extent.

Anyone else seen this or know of a way to fix it?

What were your settings for video so we can give a better response. I think I understand your issue but I need your settings so I'm more sure what the problem might be.

pretty much used the default video settings. Video stabilization is set to off as I read that can cause issues. Tracking AF is set to off as well...not sure if that would help or not?

Bump...anyone know if Tracking AF is to help keep focus while taking video?
