Hello fellow Note 8 users.
Happy new year.

I use a few websites where i stream video from.

They're fine on the PC.
If they didn't, a Kazaa Codec pack will fix it up and the show goes on.

But using the Note 8 to view the sites is a different story.
The sites load, but i cannot get the video the stream.
It pops up with an error regarding file or player can't load, or something along those lines.

How do i get around this, and continue to stream videos from these websites i am so fond of?

Thanks for your time.

You'll need to find a video player from the app store that used those codecs you're installing on your PC. Maybe try MX Player or VLC player. Good luck.

I have VLC Player.

The videos are on the website.
They don't play.

It doesn't open in a 3rd party app.
It plays on the web page - or it should.

Maybe try a different browser. It's been a while since I've ventured through different browsers so not sure what's out there that is good. In past I've used Dolphin, Opera, Firefox, etc. give them a try. I use Chrome right now and I haven't ran any issues with playing videos that are embedded in web sites. But of course it all depends on the site. If you are using the Samsung Browser and have the Ad Blockers enabled those can stop embedded videos from working too.
