It's an older software build. The device in hand doesn't seem to be up to date. Probably a prototype.

im still not sure about the soft buttons. one thing i dont understand is that on the camera app the icons turn into little dots. Why? if you are going to take up 96 pixels for the buttons, why not just keep the buttons there? why change them to dots?

I may be wrong, but I think when the buttons go into "low-profile mode" like that, it takes one top to reactivate them (bring them back) and a second to use them. In the camera, for instance, they go away probably so you don't accidentally hit Home or something when going for a shot.
And so they don't distract you if, say, you're looking at a picture or something (when not in full-screen mode)

trust me im not ing but, i just dont know what was wrong with capacitive touch or hard buttons. in essence 90% of the time it is a 4.3" screen.
