Virgin mobile 3G outage?

I just bought an LG Optimus V (virgin mobile) yesterday. It works fine until couple hours ago. I was not able to get 3G signal since then. I am not sure if that's my phone's problem or network problem. Does anyone have similar problem?

yes, we all are right now. it is a nationwide outage affecting all Virgin Mobile and Sprint customers.

when did this happen? i had 3G service all day and im on wifi right now and i just turned it off to check 3G when i read this thread and now its not working.

i first noticed a problem around 5/6pm this evening, central time.

there is mention of this outage all over the web... on VMs facebook/twitter pages. they also seem to be rolling out a Froyo update, which could be causing problems.
