Visual indication on phone as to whether Wifi or data being used for music?

I use LG 8 to play youtube playlists a lot at home. But Wifi in my area is inconsistent. Never know when the Wifi is gone and I'm burning through data while playing the music. Is there some way to have an indication on the youtube screen that would tell me if I'm using Wifi or data?

That's a risky thing to do. By far the best solution would be to switch off mobile data.

I don't know of anything such as you describe.
