Visual Voicemail will not play messages

[Android Central Question]

Visual Voicemail will show I have a message but when I try to play it I get an error message, Unfortunately, the process com.android.settings has stopped. I have tried deleting cache and data then force stop and reboot. Tried updating the app from play store. Tried a factory reset. Still won't work. I have metro pcs.

OK kids the problem is with the play button. It will play but you must hold it for the duration of the messages. I know sucks. I am taking my phone to Verizon tomorrow and will report. In the meantime it will play but you must hold button. You are welcome... Panda

OK my phone is a Samsung gs5. Old school but after talking to both Samsung and Verizon I figured it out myself. Go figure. Later.. Panda
