Visual Voicemail

Coming from an EVO 4G, I?ve had visual voicemail for a while. I have never been charged for it. I was a little surprised to see that one has to use the old analog style voicemail on such an advance phone. It seems it is standard on my wife?s iPhone and most other devices..

Are there other apps which do the same thing as the visual voicemail pay option or should I just pay for it? Thanks.

Seems PhoneFusion is the top hit in store. Will it be as good as having a carrier's integrated VM?

Google Voice has integrated visual voice mail. It also transcribes and reads aloud your voice mails, should you want it to. I have been using GV (for voice mail only) for years ..

I use GoogleVoice as well.. I gotta say though the texts I get of come of the emails the translations are sometimes a riot to read, ..

Seems like a good idea but I'm looking for something simple. It seems GV is definitely a more encompassing product. Don't know if I need it. Would like just to replace Verizon's visual voicemail.
