Voice commands cause a loud continuous tone on my blue tooth.

When my phone starts to listen for a voice command (google now, assistant, android auto etc.) from blue tooth my phone plays a loud continuous tone on my blue tooth.

Just started about a week ago, no idea what might have changed.

Any ideas what might be causing it?
