voice dictation

Hello everyone. I wonder if someone with experience could help me here? I understand that our tablet is capable of voice dictation. From what I have read, if you want to dictate an e-mail for example, you tap on the keyboard in the application you are using and there should be a picture of a little mic you are supposed to click on. I don't see any little mic available. Am I doing something wrong, or am I simply missing domething? Thanks for any detailed help...Bill

the mike is on the keyboard next to the @ and space bar.

And if that doesn't work, try the dictation apps in the play store. I just looked there and found one for doing mail dictation.

Hi...Thanks for the information, but we must have 2 different keyboards. On my keyboard, the @ sign is on the number 2 number ( top row ) and of course, my space bar is along the bottom row. However, strange as it may seems, I have a microphone symbol on my camera, and it will work with voice commands.

I am on the default Samsung Keyboard. Next to the space bar on left is the @ and then next to it is the microphone.
