For some reason even though the 3D is android 2.3.4 and the ET4G is android 2.3.4 voicemail played back fine my evo 3D via bluetooth, it does not play back on my Epic Touch 4G. I can make phone calls perfectly on both with my BT headset but not listen to voicemail which is very frustrating.

I have a plantronics 975 which is a pretty good headset.

Anyone having any luck? I emailed Samsung and this is what they said -

Thank you for your inquiry.

Voicemail will work with your bluetooth headset if it support A2DP profile. Please check your bluetooth
headset model if this support this bliuetooth profile.

I have no idea why it works for the EVO 3D and does not work with the EpicTouch 4G. I though A2DP was for listening to music in stereo.

DOOOH - I missed it - I did a search and didn't realize it was a jpg - thanks so much for helping this simple and inane man. I just skimmed it and figured that would have a left shifted bullet point.

How is that? That even shows my home screen.:)

I just dumped my EVO 3D and have NO regrets. There are somethings that were better on the EVO 3D but this phone just blows that phone out of the water for so many reasons I can easily get by without it.

The 3D was my first Android phone and while I finally like Android (only really tried out the very first android phone and wasn't impressed), the 3D had left me with a little love hate that fortunately didn't spill over to Android. I like sense in a lot of ways but it never showed the correct number of new messages from my exchange server unless I opened email even though my phone was set for push 24x7 and I only had one email account set up. I'll be honest though, the only thing that drove me to replace my 3D was the crappy call quality and dropped calls. I tried 3 of them and they all sucked in that are which considering I make 3000-3500 minutes of calls per month is an important aspect of the phone to me. My clients no longer get frustrated with dropped calls and having to ask me to repeat myself.

This is a Sprint issue and not Samsung. The Photon has the same problem. The other major issue is no bluetooth while you have the 3.5 mm cable plugged into a car AUX jack for music.

I have been monitoring the forums for issues with this phone as I am thinking about getting it. But that is the first I have heard about bluetooth not working if you have the 3.5mm cable plugged into a car AUX jack for music. That's a show stopper for me as I am constantly streaming Pandora in my car and I keep my bluetooth on for any calls which might come in. I hope they fix this issue as well.

Thanks for the information.
