Volume on speaker cuts in a out

So my.speaker keeps flickering on and off. I have figured if squeeze or flex the phone it will start working again. Has anyone had this issue or have any suggestions to fix it? On a side note I was having issues where the touch screen was unresponsive but haven't had issues since I cleared the cache. Thanks for any help you can provide

Layman's guess is a connection contact issue. May involve phone disassembly to retweak the contacts.
