Hi, guys! I picked up a used Nexus 10, and so far am holding off updating it to Lollipop (on 4.4.4 for now). My question though is that I notice that with the volume rocker, it seems to be going the opposite way in functionality from all my other devices. Where I would normally press up for volume up, it is going down, and when I press down for volume down, it is going up. Is this normal? Thanks in advance!

Which way are you holding the tablet and which side of the volume rocker are you hitting?

Umass021, in either vertical or landscape mode, the volume is going the opposite way of what I expect it to do.

It's always seemed backwards to me too and i have owned since day 1.

Well that's good to know! I thought it might've been a glitch, because I didn't see this mentioned in product reviews when it first came out. I guess it's a Samsung quirk. :)

I seem to recall a post from the early days of the N10 abut this. At that time someone claimed this is how Korean volume rockers work. it was so long ago that is about all I retain from that thread.
