Volume Warning

Depends on how much you want the tweak. Here's the effort: have adb or platform tools on the computer, plug phone in, open SamTweaks folder and it does the adb permission by itself.

It seems that every phone has a different behavior.
On my S9+ I get the volume warning only once after restarting my device. If I tap OK, I can control the volume freely with no warnings until the next restart (which I rarely do anyway).

Go to Settings - Sounds and Vibration - Volume - tap the 3 dots on the top right corner, Media Volume Limiter. Turn it On and set the custom volume limit slider all the way up.

EDIT: Neveremind, I don't think this removes the pop up.

That does not work. Would be great if it did!

They legally have to add these warnings I believe.
For our devices, Sam Tweaks is the only answer.

I don't have a Samsung, but I came to these forums to see if there was any discussion or solution to this annoyance? I was a Windows phone user for about 7 years before switching to a Sony Xperia device about 6 months ago, and I am actually having the same exact experience with the volume warning with Android as I did with Windows.

I normally listen to music in my car either with an auxiliary cable or via Bluetooth, but in either case, I have to max out the phone's volume level just to get it to play at the same level as music on the radio. I don't see this warning often, but I've seen it come up twice in the past week, which prompted my search here today. Here is a description of my experience the past few years on both operating systems.

The initial attempt to turn the volume up will, at a certain level, prompt a warning about hearing damage at loud volume. After clicking OK, I rarely see the message again, but when I do, it is very annoying. It doesn't pop up the warning when I'd expect it to, such as when I'm actually changing the volume level. It pops up the warning randomly when I'm already listening to something at the phone's maximum volume, and the phone will automatically lower the level to 15/30.

It doesn't even make sense to warn someone of possible hearing damage when he has already been listening at that loud level for multiple hours.

From what I've seen, I only get the message once. When the device is restarted or powered down, then I will receive it again. You can avoid this by syncing your Bluetooth volume with the device but this doesn't work for all Bluetooth devices.

I'm trying to get that warning to come up now so I can test when it pops up but I can't now. If you use Bixby to "Set media volume to 100%" will the pop up trigger?

You can thank our friends in Europe for this. It’s a law to have this warning, or a dB limit if no warning. One of the reasons Archos devices suck for audio quality is they went the volume dB limit route. To rub salt in the wound, they also used a poor gain curve in relation to the limited volume. Archos went from the best sound quality devices in the early and mid 2000’s to the absolute worst.
