VRBMF1 out now...... Just updated my phone.

I received my update last night...cool. I didn't notice if I had multi screen before, but I do now. There is a little blue tab off to the left, and I'd really like for it not to be there all the time. I'm guessing there is some setting for that?

It may be too early to tell, but everything seems to be running smoothly. Last week I had several times when sms wouldn't go through...but I was in Canada, thought it was attributed to that.

I'm consistently draining about 6-7 % battery life/hour and seeing 14-16 hours before the red battery indicator comes on. On the previous update I was draining almost twice as fast.

I have the VRBMF1 update and am since it installed on 6/24, my battery life has been terrible.

Probably factory reset. I upgraded from MB1 (after downgrading from MD3) and my battery usage has been better than MB1 based on early indications. So I figure it's as least as good.

I have to agree with others my phone is back to working great not sure about battery wise cause I've been using allot of music streaming but have not had any hiccups with signal loss or txt fails. So I'm a fan of the update

It's for using Multi-window. If you want to have 2 apps up on your screen at the same time, you drag the blue tab over (pull it from left side towards middle of screen) and will see a list of apps running up and down the left side that you can scroll through and tap to select another app to be on the screen with the currently active app.

Things seem a little better with this update but still constantly getting only 3g in st Louis which I've got 4g all the time before.

Is it it just me or did the the gallery app change with this update? I like it better, but it is different. Does anyone have a link to a list of changes made in this update? Thanks!!

For those still having issues with the new update. A factory reset may be necessary but I would try wiping the dalvik cache first. It has been know to clear up issues especially signal issues after an update.

How do you do this?

How do you do this?

Turn phone off.
Hold power + volume up + home at the same time, when the screen lights up let go of buttons.
Give it a few seconds and it will bring up a menu.
Using the volume button, move down to the option that says wipe cache partition. Use power button to select. When it finishes, 10 seconds or so, then use the power button to select reboot.

You really can't wipe dalvik cache unless you are rooted.

I was told to do this and it would probably help. I've had no issues since.(cache partition)...

Thanks for the help. I just did this and will give it a day or two to see how it does

I have been having some battery issues and reception issues since the update. Well, let me clarify that a little, my reception issues continued after the update and the battery got worse.

I did the cache clear, hopefully that will help. I'd really rather not have to do a factory reset, but I'll wait a day to see if the cache helps clear up my issues.

Still not much better. The battery is better, but the signal isn't improved any. Would a factory reset really solve that problem?

Yeah my signal sucks!
I've seen one person say this helps but it's a pain to get everything back the way it was so Idk. I would if quite a few say it helps. I just don't see why that would make a difference

this update totally screwed my battery - prior to updating, I was going 10 hours easy with heavy use and now I'm draining twice as fast!
