VRBMF1 out now...... Just updated my phone.

I rolled back to bmb1. Can I go right to MF1 without first reinstalling the update that borked my phone? Thanks.

Yes, that's exactly what I did. You won't get that bad update because they pulled it.

So I never got the last update because luckily I saw all of the poor reviews on here. What do you all think? Is this one a green light or not?

Possible bug in latest Verizon OTA.

I installed the OTA VRBMF1 update on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 on Friday 6/21.

I can no longer delete text message threads from the stock text messaging app. Is anyone else seeing this?

Still Unable to delete message threads from Verizon after receiving VRBMF1

OK. So you all had me convinced that I was crazy. So I went through the heartache of wiping and restoring my phone (really there is no easy, seamless way to do this). Then I had someone sent me a text message. I was able to delete it. Thought I was done.

But then... I got one of those data usage alert text messages from Verizon. I was able to delete the message, but not the thread. I now have an empty thread from 900080000100 that I can't delete.

Any ideas?

I was nervous too, but I decided to go for it last night and it's working great

No, I have this update and can delete individual messages and threads just as before the update.

No, this is working normally on MF1. I assume that you've tried rebooting the phone? If that doesn't pan out, you could make a backup of your SMS (not many apps allow you to backup MMS, and the one that I've used that does injects problems after you do a restore) and then clear the data, then restore the SMS.

I just now noticed this problem on mine this morning as well. But I restarted my phone and all the messages I was attempting to delete before were gone. Haven't had any problems since.

just did my phone was happy at first did it and then thought of foxfi but so far it seems to work. i know that could be a trick so im not turning foxfi off until further notice. havent noticed anything either. hope it gives me better reception in places.

FoxFi works fine after update to fix the update... have toggled it on and off without issues many times over the past few days.

Thank god... This is exactly what I was looking for. I was terrified of updating. I'm out in the middle of nowhere, but still get 4g somehow. I was just going to wait till I got home.

"EnterprisePermissions" was also installed for me. I noticed Lookout scanned it as a new app after the update. Any ideas what it is?

Not that I have seen you just have to set the phone back up the way you want it.

When I logged back into my google account it downloaded all the apps I had back to the phone.
