VZ V Voice Mail...

Before I rooted, I had vzw visual voice mail. I downloaded it again for my phone but my question is this. Do I still need to pay verizon for it if I have it downloaded? Can I call them up and cancel and still have it running. Or do I just keep paying for it?

I am not positive, but I think the Verizon VVM notifications would only be sent if you continue to pay for the service. There are other free options for VVM available in the market (I prefer google voice)

I'm sure it is enabled/disabled on VZW's ends.
Stop paying for it. Upgrade to Google Voice for free.
