VZW and VPN

I set up a VPN which I can connect to over wifi without any problems using my LG G. Connects and stays connected without any issues.

However, when I try to connect to my VPN over the Verizon 4G LTE network, it will connect but then disconnects after about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Is this an issue with VZW? Is there some setting that needs to change? Do I have to call Verizon?

I have the same exact issue. I was using Private Internet Access with no problem but that changed in early October. I didn't make any changes to my phone so it must be something Verizon is doing.
