Had the device a couple weeks and everything seems to work flawlessly. Because I transferred all my setting from my old device (S8+), I assumed I was connecting to my home and my office network as usual. However, I just discovered this weekend while out of town that no Wi-Fi network is being recognized by my phone...NO network ANYWHERE.

I have toggled off/on my Wi-Fi radio and airplane mode, powered off my device, and checked every setting I can think of, all to no avail. What am I missing? Or is this a problem and is there a fix?

Thanks!
Mark

I have not. Can you point me to reliable instructions?
Sure , long press the power button until power off appears on the screen then long press power off on the screen until it turns into safe mode and tap it , to get out just simply reboot the phone .

So I'm presently in Safe Mode and I AM now connected to Wi-Fi and can see other networks listed. Soooo...what's the best way to find the culprit?

Btw, for what it's worth, I do not have any apps that I wasn't using on my previous Galaxy phone.

First we can try network reset , go settings>generalmanagement>reset>reset network then we can go from there

Bingo! That seemed to do the trick. Thanks so much. Besides keeping an eye on networks and network connections, anything else to keep my eyes open for?

Also when you long press wifi toggle then go advanced >see if any apps in wifi history that can control it and don't allow, usual suspect are Samsung members app

Ok. Turns out the Advanced option is actually in the upper right menu (3 dots) on the Wi-Fi screen. I checked the Wi-Fi Control History and there are no apps listed, but I will keep and eye on that.

Thanks again for your help and quick replies.

Ok, if anything arises then start looking at some apps , could be a updated app or take them one by one. Your Welcome!

There's a free version..not sure if pro offers n-days trial. Helpful for me at seeing what is happening.

I also upgraded to WiFi 6 last fall which resolved issues at home -- but yours is not just @ home.

Upgrades - 4 model years - a clean install can be best and quickest in the end - to getting system working. Google made a lot of changes with 11 regarding security, permissions.
