VZW Killing Unlimited Plans (Finally)

If I have to battle with Verizon to keep it that's exactly what I am going to do..because for them to force customers to change is beyond idiotic..its going to piss off a lot of people including there own employees who still have it as i do too..they want to boast about what data plans work for such and such groups of customers..well how about leaving well enough alone..because for me to change my plan KNOWING I have a 4G device and I use a ridiculous amount of data..you damn right I am going to fight with them..they got some nerve folks...they want to throw statistics out there about percentages on what customers don't use ever 1 GB of data..which is a complete joke..because NOW that 4G is out all over the place..its obvious enough people will go over the usage..its ridiculous..It doesn't make any sense how they are going to force customers to change..not right and unreasonable..ill wait to hear the official word from them because I spoke to at least 3 representatives from the company and I was told I wont lose the plan even when I upgrade..so ill take there word over some article that probably was created by some idiot who heard half a story..:confused:

If you upgrade at a subsidized price after these new plans are in place, you WILL be forced to switch and there is nothing you can do about it.

Well, this is certainly interesting. I am with ATT and have unlimited Data and I just happened to call them earlier today to see if I would be able to keep my Unlimited Data if i were to eliminate my current Family Plan and go back to a single account. I was told I would be able to keep my Unlimited Data as long the phone number/account that has it never gets rid of the plan in the first place, meaning I can upgrade, change my plan, etc... whenever I wanted.

I was thinking that Verizon had the same thing going. You got to keep your Unlimited Data as long as you had it but once you removed it, you could never get it back. Even if you chenged plans.

Did verizon originally have something like this or no? If no, what exactly does grandfathered mean as far as they are concerned?

Att throttles users after 3 gigs on 4g if they have unlimited.

LOL that's funny. Even VZW had to get a licensing waiver to be able to call their LTE network 4G.
